Black Jack

Objective

Obtain a hand value closer to 21 than the dealer, without going over 21.

A hand value of 21 dealt on the first 2 cards is counted as a “Black Jack” and pays 1.5 times your initial bet. Basic game progression After the initial bet has been placed, the player and dealer are each dealt 2 cards. Player cards are dealt face up, while one of the dealer’s cards is shown. The player now has access to the following options: Hit Draw another card. A player may hit as many times as they like while their hand value is below 21. Stand Stop at the current total. The dealer will continue to take cards ("hit") until their total is 17 or greater. An Ace in the dealer's hand is always counted as 11 unless doing so brings his hand value over 21.
